Faith Beamer Cooke papers, 1928-1999.

The collection consists primarily of material related to Faith Cooke's poetry: drafts, notes, responses, and final versions of her poems. Other materials include her correspondence with publishers, writers, and government officials. These papers reveal the long struggle of a poet trying to gain recognition and an audience, and her persistent efforts to see her work published.
